September 1, 2026September 8, 2026 The Hellenic Alliance of Rare Patients at the 2026 TIF Η Rare Diseases Greece (RDG) is also participating this year in International Fair of Thessaloniki (TIF), bringing the voices of people living with rare diseases and their families to the center of public debate. From September 5 to 13, 2026, the H.S.A.E. is located at Booth 14, in the Ministry of Health area, with the aim of informing and raising public awareness about rare diseases, as well as highlighting the needs of the patient community. Making the Rare Visible More than 6,000 rare diseases are known today, while hundreds of thousands of people in Greece are estimated to live with one of them. Behind every diagnosis are patients and families who often face a long diagnostic journey, limited information, and significant challenges in accessing specialized care and treatment options. The presence of the Hellenic Alliance for Rare Diseases (H.A.R.D.) in an institution with such a wide reach as the TIF is an important opportunity for rare disease issues to reach a broader audience and to strengthen the dialogue among patients, families, healthcare professionals, researchers, and the State. The Association is one of the main bodies representing people with rare diseases in Greece and actively participates in both public debate and health policy formulation, as well as in European and international initiatives for rare diseases. 📍 TIF 2026September 5–13, 2026Pavilion 14 – Ministry of Health Area Sources https://www.protothema.gr/advertorial/article/1872826/i-enosi-spanion-asthenon-ellados-esae-tha-summetashei-kai-fetos-sti-diethni-ekthesi-thessalonikis-deth https://www.facebook.com/rarediseasesgreece News TIFESAErare diseases
